I was quite satisfied with what I created and I hope to put some of what I learned to use on a longer project - I'm currently thinking the Hyrule Resistance needs a manga of their own

Oooo, seems I am up to something again (and this time I am determined to finish!)

Was browsing through an article on Zentendo recently and came across a summarised japanese interview with Iwata on Link's Crossbow training - there were some choice comments on it, such as Ocarina of Time almost being in a first person perspective (no wai!) and strange title choices, ie "The Legend of Zelda, the Phantom Crossbow" - mouthful, isn't it?

Although I was surprised to see no comments on a particular offhand statement within the text:

"This project was born from the Zelda team, so they decided to keep going with that franchise. After rejecting a Terminator-like idea, they remembered the shooting stage in Old Kakariko, so they decided to give Link a crossbow."

A terminator-like idea? What on earth did that involve? Did AK47s and Bazookas finally make their way to Hyrule?

Lol, it actually got me thinking about comparing the two characters and I guess they are (a little) alike - afterall we all know Link will be back for the next installment of the Legend of Zelda!

What weapon would you most like to see Link use? (I really really really want to see a trebuchet in Zelda, for the express reason that the very name is wonderful when spoken!)
